💡A Morning Ritual Worth Sharing
It’s been on my mind for a while now — to share this.
Every morning, I take a moment to connect with my body. Ideally, it would happen right when I open my eyes… but with the kids, that’s rarely the case. So I help them get ready, and then, I take a moment for myself.
With GUTS.WORK, what I stand for is being in touch with the body, mind, heart, and environment — all at once. Because I’ve realized that my best moments, ideas, and decisions have always come from this state of unity.
✨ You Know That Feeling…
You’ve probably experienced one of those blessed days — where everything feels easy, your energy flows, your interactions are smooth and joyful… Fortunate little surprises happen: someone gives you something, you witness a beautiful, simple moment of everyday life, and feel the wonder of it. Even if things don’t go as planned, they still unfold in a way that feels just right.
To access that state of alignment, the easiest way is to start the day with your best buddy: your body. To connect with it.
That’s exactly what the Wake Up Club is about.
🥊 It All Started with a Boxing Champion
I discovered the idea of a morning routine ten years ago, when my first son was born.
My great-grand-uncle — a former boxing champion — taught me and my boyfriend the morning moves he’d been doing forever. He was 80 at the time, taking great care of himself: gardening all day, cooking, singing, doing two rounds of morning exercises — one for himself, and one to teach us — while rocking the baby at the same time!

This routine helped me understand something essential: after a whole night of collapsing onto my mattress (even a very good one), my body needs a proper awakening.
Maybe my heart was compressed inside my rib cage from sleeping on my left side. Or my liver and stomach from sleeping on my belly. Or maybe it’s my shoulders, my back, my legs…
So: I twist, stretch, breathe into my body. I open up space — for my organs, and for whatever the day may bring.
Moving my body every morning has become as natural as brushing my teeth.
🌀 Then Came Qi Gong
Then, in 2023, I discovered Qi Gong — and a whole new world of possibilities.
Through the classes I took, and later my Chi Nei Tsang training (which is deeply rooted in Qi Gong), I learned new sequences. Some are dynamic, others are practiced in super slow motion — helping me feel exactly what’s happening inside. Where the tension is, where the energy flows… and where it doesn’t.
Now, I adapt my routine to what I need. Every day is different.
After sharing this practice with friends — who absolutely loved it — I felt inspired to share it more widely.
🌿 And So, the Wake Up Club Was Born
On April 23rd, on the grass of Zeppelinplatz in Berlin-Wedding, I gave my very first class.
The Wake Up Club was born!

Every wednesday at 8 am until the end of July.
Start your day with 30 minutes of outdoor movement, fresh air, and good moves.
A gentle blend of fitness, Qi Gong, meditation, and body awareness.
Please, come as you are – sleepy, in pajamas, or already glowing.
Wake up your body, boost your energy, and feel grounded with us.
Let’s meet outside at Zeppelinplatz every wednesday at 8 am.
